Where and How to File:

Record a claim of lien with the Clerk of the Circuit Court in the county where the property is located. Must be verified and include property description, amount owed, name of owner, and description of work. Serve a copy on the owner within 15 days of recording.

Notice to Owner required for subcontractors/suppliers.
