Residential alterations/repairs: 30 days after first delivery; original construction: 60 days
File by:
90 days after last furnishing (60 days for Class 2 structures)
Enforce by:
1 year after recording notice of intention to hold lien (or 30 days if owner demands)
Where found:
Ind. Code §§ 32-28-3-1 et seq.
Record a notice of intention to hold mechanic's lien with the Recorder's office in the county where the property is located. Must include property description, amount claimed, name of owner, and date of last furnishing.
