90 days (if Notice of Contract filed) or 30 days (if no Notice of Contract) after filing lien

Where and How to File:

File a statement of account (lien) with the registry of deeds or the Land Court for registered land in the county where the property is located. Must file a Notice of Contract beforehand if possible. Must include property description and amount.
