Within 20 days of first furnishing (filed with state registry)
File by:
Earlier of 75 days after last furnishing or 75 days after completion
Enforce by:
120 days after recording lien (extendable up to 2 years)
Where found:
Utah Code Ann. §§ 38-1a-101 et seq.
File a notice of claim with the County Recorder in the county where the property is located. Must also file preliminary notice through the State Construction Registry (an online filing system). Must include property description, amount due, and name of owner.
State construction registry filing required.
